TWAS April 13
Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying a bit of that warmer sun that is finally poking through! I know all of us in 73 are really wanting some spring warmth to play in :)
We have had an exciting week. The children loved getting their monster illustrations and letters from Dr. George and we have them up on display and ready to share with you next week at conferences. The children are all also very excited to have started creating websites (on their secure CBE Google accounts) for their super cool communities. We have also been very busy with science experiments, geometry, poetry work, narrative and persuasive writing, in addition to some great phys-ed and music classes. We hope you enjoy this week's student quotes (posted below) and TWAS letters that went home in the blue folders. The beautiful balloon art is also up and ready for you to enjoy at conferences.
We start swimming this Monday, so please have your little ones wear their swimsuits under their clothes and bring a plastic bag to place their wet items in after swimming.

Artist of the Week
The White Stripes:
This week we will be working on learning and “re-writing” the words to We’re Gonna Be Friends by the White Stripes. Additionally, we will be celebrating the awesome, face-melting garage rock duo and looking at the creative ways in which Jack White experiments with guitar tone, and the vital role (contrary to popular belief) that Meg played in the band.
